Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! Shafer Elementary is a K-3 building.  Presently 548 students are enrolled.  There are 198 students enrolled in our Blue Eagle Cyber Academy program. There are 340 students enrolled in the hybrid program. Research shows that parents/guardians play a key role in each student’s academic success.  Therefore, we invite all parents and guardians to become involved with the SES community. Please contact the principal if you have any questions and/or concerns as the school year progresses. Parent support and input is always appreciated.

SECRETARIES:  Mrs. Mae Morrison and Mrs. Charlene Stapert are Shafer Elementary School’s secretaries who will greet you as you enter the main office. They will help meet your needs or direct you to the appropriate person.


SCHOOL DAY: Our school day begins at 8:30 a.m. Students who arrive at school after 8:30 a.m. are considered tardy. It is important that your child is on time each day. Parents will be contacted if your child is consistently tardy. Our dismissal procedures begin at approximately 2:15 p.m.

Attendance/Homework Hot Line prior to 9:00 A.M. The number is 610-759-2045.
